Participation in "Hacking Health"

In the frame of the Germano-Tunisian project, titled "Promoting Engineering & Digital Technology for Physical and Mental Health: PDTH", offered and financed by the DAAD, a group of young researchers from the Institute of Sport Science at Otto-Von-Guericke University have participated in "Hacking Health" events in Sfax, Tunisia from the 11th to 13th October 2019 and won the second prize for developing the idea of an innovative devices to “VRlize” rehabilitation for patients with Parkinson‘s disease entitled "VR-Active".

Thereafter, another group of bachelor and master students from the Sport Science Department have succesfully participated in the International Conference on Digital Health Technologies "ICDHT 2019" from the 9th to the 11th of December 2019 in Hammamet, Tunisia under the supervision of the project manager Prof. Dr. Anita Hoekelmann and the coordinator of the project Dr. Achraf Ammar.
